Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 June 2026
These terms govern your use of DearGP. By buying a pack you agree to them, so please read them first.
What DearGP is, and is not
DearGP is a preparation and document service. We help you organise your own information and understand published UK guidance so you can prepare for a medical appointment.
We are not a medical service. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and we are not a substitute for a consultation with a clinician. We are not a crisis or emergency service. If you need urgent help, contact NHS 111, the Samaritans on 116 123, or call 999 in an emergency.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or over to use DearGP. The service is built around UK clinical guidance and is intended for people preparing for an appointment in the UK.
What you get
For a one-off payment, you complete an intake and we generate a personalised pack: a GP briefing document, an appointment script, an evidence sheet drawn from a fixed bank of published UK guidance, and a follow-up letter template. The pack is delivered to you by email as a PDF.
The pack is built from the answers you give. It is only as accurate as the information you provide, so please answer as fully and honestly as you can.
Payment
The price is £39, charged once, before your pack is generated. Payment is handled securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
Refunds
If the pack does not make you feel more prepared, reply to your delivery email within 14 days and we will refund you in full. No questions, no forms. By asking us to generate your pack immediately, you agree that we begin providing the service straight away; our refund promise above applies regardless.
Acceptable use
Please use DearGP only for preparing for your own appointment, or for someone you are helping with their knowledge. Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to produce content that is unlawful.
Your responsibilities
The pack is a preparation tool. Decisions about your care are made between you and your clinician. Always follow the advice of a qualified professional, and never delay seeking help because of anything in your pack.
Intellectual property
The pack we generate is yours to use for your own appointment. The website, its design, and the systems that produce the pack remain our property.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for clinical decisions, for outcomes of any appointment, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms that applied when you bought your pack are the ones that govern that purchase.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
